Frequently Asked Questions

How does cost-per-use work?

Your cost-per-use is calculated by dividing the purchase price by the number of times you've used the item. For example, a $200 jacket worn 100 times costs $2.00 per use. The more you use something, the lower the cost per use gets.

How do I log a use?

Simply tap the "Used it!" button on any item card. Each tap records one use and instantly updates the cost-per-use calculation.

What do the value colors mean?

Items are color-coded based on their cost-per-use relative to the purchase price:

What is a break-even target?

When adding an item, you can optionally set a target cost-per-use. The app will show a progress bar tracking how many more uses you need to reach that target. For example, if you set a $5/use target on a $100 item, you need 20 uses to break even.

Can I undo a usage log?

Yes! Tap on any item to open the detail view, then tap "Undo Last Use" to remove the most recent usage entry.

What's included in the free version?

The free version includes up to 10 items with full usage tracking, cost-per-use calculations, value ratings, break-even targets, and all sorting/filtering options.

What does Pro unlock?

Pro is a one-time $3.99 purchase that unlocks unlimited items, CSV data export, and category grouping views. No subscription — pay once, keep forever.

How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?

Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases". This will restore your Pro status if you've previously purchased it with the same Apple ID or Google account.

Is my data backed up?

All data is stored locally on your device. There is currently no cloud sync feature. We recommend keeping regular device backups through iCloud or Google to preserve your data.

Can I export my data?

Yes! Pro users can export all items as a CSV file from Settings. The export includes item name, category, price, usage count, cost-per-use, and purchase date.
